Amusement Standards deploys on-site in the window before a new installation opens — live CRC certification, ASTM §8.3 field demonstrations at the ride, emergency drill documentation, and a complete pre-opening compliance package. You're present at the moment that matters most.
A new installation is an unfamiliar ride for every operator, every supervisor, and every maintenance tech at the park. Training done in a classroom two weeks before opening is not the same as supervised operation at the actual ride. The gap between those two things is where incidents happen.
The Pre-Launch Intensive puts an Amusement Standards expert on-site, at the ride, in the operating window — running live certification, supervising field demonstrations, and producing documentation that proves the park was ready before Day 1.
As the manufacturer, you sold the ride. If an incident happens in the first season and the park never had documented operator certification on record, the question becomes yours to answer. The Pre-Launch Intensive creates the documentation that shows your standard was met before the ride ever opened.
Parks that go through the Pre-Launch Intensive open with a complete pre-opening compliance package — signed CRC certifications, field demo records, emergency drill documentation, and a pre-opening inspection sign-off. That package is the difference between "we trained our people" and "here is the documentation that proves it."
The Pre-Launch Intensive is structured around four core deliverables — all produced on-site, all documented, all delivered before the ride opens.
Opening Day Observation — AS remains on-site for the first public operating session, observing operator performance and providing real-time feedback. Any deviations from SOP are documented and a post-opening brief is delivered to park management. Available for $1,500 additional.
The Intensive is designed to fit inside a park's installation and commissioning window — not add time to it.
Flat rate per launch — no per-candidate fees, no per-deliverable charges. Travel and expenses are the only variable.
$8,000 for flat ride installations (typically 2-day on-site). $12,000 for coaster installations or multi-ride parks (typically 3-day on-site with larger operator cohorts). Scope confirmed after initial conversation.
Tell us the ride, the installation park, and your target opening date. We'll confirm availability and scope within 48 hours. Bookings typically need 6–8 weeks of lead time.
